Jakarta Park and Cemetery Department will repair damage park and green line in several main roads such as Jalan MH Thamrin, HR Rasuna Said and Sudirman due to impact of long dry season.

“Poor them, the whole plants die. Some are still growing and some have seen dry and withered,” said Herawati, one of employees in Sudirman area, Saturday (9/12).

Head of Jakarta Park and Cemetery Department, Ratna Dyah Kurniati conveyed her side will immediatley repair damage park as well increase watering intensity to make it greeny.

Kurniati added, the repair is only to replace dry or dead plants. “We fix them by using tambal sulam method,” she finished.
